Do all vibrators feel the same?
No, all vibrators do not feel the same. Vibrators vary by size, shape, vibration intensity and speed. You should also consider the material the vibrator is made of. Vibrators made of plastic are generally less expensive but if you want to maximize your experience, choose a vibrator made of medical grade silicone. These are very soft to the touch so they are worth it!
What kind of lube should I use on my vibrator?
Water-based lubricants like Astroglide Original or KY Jelly are safe to use with all materials and are also easy to clean off once you are finished using your vibrator. Do not use silicone-based lubricants with vibrators made of medical grade silicone. This type of lubricant may disintegrate the vibrator's material. It’s not recommended to use oil-based lubricants vaginally as these may cause irritation or yeast infections.
How should I clean my vibrator?
You should clean your vibrator after every use with lukewarm sudsy water. Thoroughly rinse off any remaining soap. Always remember to first remove batteries from the battery compartment or unplug your vibrator from the charger, if applicable. Though the majority of today’s vibrators are waterproof, make sure yours is. If it’s not waterproof, be careful not to get water in the battery compartment. Dry your vibrator thoroughly with a lint-free cloth. Do not use paper towels as the paper lint may stick to rubber.
How should I store my vibrator?
Always keep your vibrator clean and safe. Don't just toss it under the bed. If your vibrator didn’t come with a storage pouch, wrap it in a clean towel or a t-shirt and place it in a closed container, such as a plastic box, and store it in a nightstand drawer or closet. To prolong the battery life and also to prevent the vibrator from accidentally switching on, remove the batteries when storing your vibrator.
